We've been staying at this Ramada for the past 8ish years and it was nice before and now its BEAUTIFUL! They've done a lot of really great upgrades. The hot tub is always clean and working. They have fresh coffee available for free all day/night. They've added a small bar that serves drinks/food and the bartender, Chet, is fantastic!!!! Super fun to talk to and makes a wicked Wisconsin Old Fashioned. They've added a small room with some slot machines which makes it fun when you really don't feel like leaving the hotel. We will definitely keep staying as long as they don't jack up their prices too high....

Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and great service! Front desk offered me a room upgrade since I’m a diamond member - this rarely happens! I usually have to ask. Pool is larger than most. Lobby is huge and has a comfortable walk in bar. Galena is a stunning and beautiful place to visit!

This was a very nice hotel! Our room was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Some small touches like the dark wash cloth for removing makeup were really thoughtful. The pool was huge! The back deck has a beautiful view and nice patio furniture. The breakfast was great. I would recommend staying here.

Lobby is clean and games are put out. Friendly staff, breakfast was good. Out shower had low water pressure, but still enough to get clean. Room that I had had the outdoor patio just outside our room. Could hear people talking and music till after 2:30am. Wasn't super happy about. The room is modern and spacious. Overall happy and would stay here again.

Excellent accommodations, great staff, wonderful location. Short drive to get to downtown Galena, with retail stores in close proximity. The staff were friendly at every contact, even through some check-in confusion. The property was clean and the breakfast was more than I could have anticipated, excellent choices for everybody. Was a wonderful stay, we will be back!!

My family and I stayed here 2 nights and were surprised how nice this hotel was. The rooms, staff, pool, breakfast and location were all great. If I had to give it a negative, they did not clean our room after the first night, which wasn't a big thing, but we needed some clean towels, which they did provide. We'll be back next year.

Had a wonderful girls getaway. Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast in the morning has so many options! I’d definitely recommend the Spa to anyone!

After reading all the poor reviews, I was hesitant to stay here for a girl's weekend, but I was pleasantly surprised by all the updates and cleanliness of this hotel. (There are signs saying thank you for your patience as we update the facility). The 2 queen room we stayed in was recently updated. Yes the mattress was hard, but what moderately priced hotel does have nice mattresses? Beautiful light up mirror and happy with the second sink outside the bathroom. Impressed with the continental breakfast and coffee/tea selection. The pool is as large as everyone else says and the workout room was updated and still had that new rubber smell. Had a facial one morning at the in house spa- nice perk to have on site. Would stay here again!
